Launching partner: Vattenfall present the circular strategy ‘Repurpose’
The Circular Wind Guide is an exciting non-profit initiative of ECHT and the University of Leeds with the specific aim to inspire and guide towards circular practices in the wind industry. We are honored with Vattenfall as the launching partner of the Guide, presenting the first circular strategy on ‘Repurpose ’. Repurposing refers to the structural reuse of wind turbine components for a different function than its original use. The showcase that Vattenfall provided on this circular strategy concerns a groundbreaking project in Lund, Sweden. Here decommissioned wind turbine blades are repurposed as part of an eco-friendly parking structure. More information is found here.
